Chandler Elizabeth Cook shares her path to creativity and what drives her as a creator. She was born with a creative passion, along with an intense desire to express herself and portray emotions and thoughts. During her childhood, growing up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she was constantly surrounded by a variety of artists, photographers, sculptures, and inventors…these humans that shaped her into the person she is today. It was this environment that her mother and father created that allowed her to recognize beauty and thrive artistically. From doing summer art classes at Carnegie Mellon to the art classes at the Frick museums, Chandler wanted to create, and completely put herself into her work.
Her team is filled with creative and unique individuals. From advertisement and style, to mix media art, photography, and filmmaking, everyday you can imagine new things and live your life, always looking for the beauty in it. As the years have gone by, Chandler wants to show everyone the different mediums of work that have inspired and defined herself as a creator and artist in this lifetime. Some people say her work is very “aquatic” Art surrounds us everyday and we need to find beauty and relish in the simplicity of what is in front of us. Recently she has been designing and branding for various small businesses, along with working on own personal projects and collaborating with independent designers. She also has brought to life a small apparel brand “Lucy Vincent Apparel” which she calls her new found baby. Lucy Vincent Apparel is a small apparel line where Chandler hand screen prints and hand dyes her shirts. You can find her work through the Lucy Instagram account “@lucyvincentapparel”. All design are based off towns on her home of Martha’s Vineyard. Chandler and her team work closely as a variety of visual thinkers, creators between web design, branding, and direct individuals towards their creative goals.
Chandler finds that this passion has completely consumed herself and her team, and happiness depends on the ability to create something everyday. She wouldn’t say that she has yet found her piece of vocation, but has drive that continues to take over, with this coming closer to defining her work each day. People who see beauty, inspiration, and love through their everyday actions, with a desire to influence others and the artistic side in all over.
